01 — The truth
Looks clean. It isn’t.
Sweat, skin, and bare feet. A quick mop doesn’t touch it.
02 — It never starts big
One small spot. Weeks on the bench.
It looks like nothing. Then your coach sees it: “You can’t roll with that.”
So you sit. And watch your class drill the pass you’ve chased for months.
The worst part isn’t the skin.
It’s watching everyone get better without you.
Ringworm, staph and impetigo spread by contact and shared mats.
Most gyms sit you out until it clears.
A daily routine is the easiest way to lower your risk.
03 — Two grapplers
Same class. Different Monday.
